Driving Range Attendant

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head Professional, the duties of the position would include but are not limited to;

  • Providing and delivering exceptional member/guest services

  • Interacting with members and guests on a constant basis

  • Setting up the Driving Range and monitoring golf ball levels – re-staking pyramids when required

  • Picking up golf balls (via range cart) and cleaning the golf balls

  • Apply sand/seed mixture to range turf

  • Ensure Driving range accessories are displayed properly at all times (bag stands, clock, chairs, ect)

  • Assisting backshop staff with various duties when required

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of golf is an asset

  • Committed to working in a high pace team environment

  • Friendly and Outgoing personality

  • Ability to properly operate a golf cart (training provided)

  • Responsible and hard working

  • Willing to work a variety of shifts (Evenings - 4pm-9pm, weekends)

Compensation

  • Range Attendants will be given 1 pass for 1 round of golf for every shift worked. This pass is to be used on non-peak golfing times outlined by the Golf Professional. The pass is nontransferable and must be redeemed by the Range Attendant

Term

  • Must be available to work the months of April through October

Starter/Players Assistant

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head Professional, the duties of the position would include but are not limited to;

  • Providing and delivering exceptional member/guest services

  • Interacting with members and guests on a constant basis

  • Running of the 1st Tee and ensuring tee times run in a timely manner

  • Greeting of guests and conveying club policies/information about the course.

  • Assist in the club storage, and cart fleetduties when necessary

  • Setting up the Driving Range and monitoring golf ball levels

  • Ensuring club storage and all outside courtyard areas are clean

  • Occasional “Marshall” trips around the golf course

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of golf

  • Committed to working in a high pace team environment

  • Friendly and Outgoing personality

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure a timely 1st Tee

  • Responsible and hard working

  • Willing to work a variety of shifts (Early mornings, mid-day, weekends)

Compensation

  • Starters will be given 1 pass for 1 round of golf for every shift worked. This pass is to be used on non-peak golfing times outlined by the Golf Professional.

Backshop/Club Storage Attendant

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Head Professional, the duties of the position would include but are not limited to;

  • Providing and delivering exceptional member/guest services

  • Interacting with members and guests on a constant basis

  • Retrieving members clubs and preparing them for the days play

  • Cleaning and storing of members clubs upon completion of play

  • Prepare and stage golf carts for the days play

  • Cleaning and parking of golf carts upon completion of play

  • Ensuring club storage and all outside courtyard areas are clean

  • Stocking, picking and cleaning of Driving Range

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of golf is an asset

  • Committed to working in a high pace team environment

  • Friendly and Outgoing personality

  • Responsible and hard working

  • Willing to work a variety of shifts (Early morning, evenings, weekends)

  • Able to be on your feet for extended periods of time and lift heavy golf bags

Compensation

  • Minimum wage

  • Golfing privileges (limited to designated times)

  • Staff discount on Pro Shop purchases

Term

  • Must be available to work the months of April through October
